Planned Parenthood was looking to educate the community on their many services and create positive connections to the value they provide. They also wanted to continue cultivating their multilayered relationships with volunteers, donors and the community by fostering a better understanding of Planned Parenthood's mission and goals.
Using fresh colors and contemporary messaging, Shew Design created a brand strategy that emphasizes healthy lifestyle choices and benefits while embracing positive values such as honesty, information, freedom, and compassion. Topics that may be viewed as controversial are addressed through a lens of shared values and facts, in a straightforward and judgment-free style of communication.
Planned Parenthood collateral includes event materials, signage, print and radio ads, newsletters, donor communications, and documentation pieces. Strategies and applications for using Twitter and Facebook-friendly micro-sites allow for ongoing dialog on key social issues such as same sex marriage, affordable health care, and women's reproductive rights. Working together, these elements are designed to help foster bridges of understanding between teens, parents, faith-based organizations and the community at large.Our collaborations with Shew Design have had a positive impact on our organization's ability to communicate. In terms of strategy and execution, their work has been outstanding and very well received.
