Skagit Rising

connecting Skagit County with opioid awareness, treatment, and recovery resources

Skagit Rising’s core message is simple: carry naloxone and know how to get it. The website needed to put that message front and center, connect people with local treatment and recovery providers, and be easy for staff to update as priorities change.

A clear path to care

Skagit Rising’s directory lists more than 30 local treatment and recovery providers, each with services, insurance, hours, interpretation, and step-by-step instructions for how to connect. It’s sorted by type of care, so people can find help they can actually use.

The right resource at the right time

Parents, educators, and researchers need different things. The educational library lets each of them filter trusted resources by topic and format, so a parent looking for talking points and a researcher looking for data both land in the right place.

The homepage leads with Skagit Rising’s most urgent message: what naloxone is and how to get it. Illustrations and clear, direct language make that message easy to take in at a glance, whether someone is on a phone or a desktop. We set up the top of the homepage so staff can swap in a new message and image whenever their priorities change.

Care Providers

32 treatment and recovery providers across Skagit County and the North Sound, from 24/7 detox in Sedro-Woolley to recovery housing in Mount Vernon. Each provider is tagged by service type (detox, inpatient, outpatient, peer support, or recovery housing) and by the insurance it accepts, so visitors can narrow the list to care they can actually use. New providers are added from a single form and appear in the directory right away.
