Your website is more than a digital brochure — it’s often the first impression of your organization, and the place people decide whether to trust you. It should load fast, read clearly, and hold up under pressure. frequently asked questions
When should I redesign my website?
A few signs tend to point to it.
- Your site is hard to update, so it’s drifted out of date, or the only person who knew how to change it is gone.
- It doesn’t hold up on a phone, loads slowly, or looks older than the work you’re doing now.
- Your content has outgrown the original structure, and people can’t find what they came for.
- It no longer reflects what your organization actually does.
None of these mean the site is broken. They mean it’s stopped keeping up with you. A redesign closes that gap. You get a site that’s fast, clear, easy to manage, and built to grow with you
How long does a website project take?
It depends on scope — a focused site moves faster than one with databases, integrations, or a lot of content to organize. Two things drive the timeline more than anything else: how quickly content and feedback come back to us, and how many rounds of review each stage needs. Our process runs in clear phases — planning, sitemap and wireframes, a working prototype, design, then launch — and each one settles a set of decisions before the next begins, so the project keeps moving instead of circling. Most projects run eight to twelve weeks. We’ll give you a realistic timeline once we understand what you’re building, and we keep you in the loop the whole way.
What’s included in a website design package?
Every agency scopes this a little differently, but a typical website package includes strategy and planning, a sitemap, wireframes, visual design for key page templates, the actual development/build, content entry, basic SEO setup (titles, meta descriptions, structured navigation), and training and documentation on how to update the site yourself. Ask specifically what’s included versus what’s billed separately — things like copywriting, custom photography, and ongoing site support and maintenance are often add-ons rather than defaults.
What does a web design agency do?
A web design agency plans, designs, and builds your website from the ground up — strategy, sitemap, content organization, visual design, and the actual build on a platform like WordPress. We start by understanding why you need the site and what it has to accomplish, then structure the information, design it around your brand, and build it on WordPress. The difference from a template or a solo freelancer is that writing, design, and development are all accountable to the same goal. And we build it to be managed — when we hand off, your team can update the site without touching code. You get a site made for your goals, not a generic layout you have to force your content into.
