a campaign that follows you home
Whatcom Has Hope reaches people on the street before it reaches them online, with bus ads running across the county. The home page slider uses the same faces and messages as those ads, so someone who saw a bus on the way to work recognizes the campaign as soon as they visit the site. Each slide leads to a next step, like finding treatment, getting naloxone, or learning the signs of an overdose.
local care, mapped
The treatment resources page explains each kind of care in plain language, from detox and residential treatment to outpatient programs, medication-assisted treatment, and family therapy. Below that, an interactive map shows every local care provider. Each provider is listed with its address, phone number, website, and services, and visitors can get directions by car, transit, bike, or on foot without leaving the page.
a library of videos to watch and share
The campaign’s videos on naloxone, fentanyl, stigma, and mixing substances are collected in one video library. They are short enough to watch on a phone and easy to share, so partners, schools, and families can pass them along.
the numbers behind the campaign
The Whatcom County data page is a portal to the county’s community health dashboard and the Whatcom County EMS dashboard, both embedded right on the page. Links to Washington State Department of Health, CDC, and University of Washington data are listed below them, so anyone who needs local overdose numbers can find them in one place.
Resources
Posters, rack cards, social media toolkits, videos, and planning documents are each stored as a resource, tagged by category and media type, and available in English, Spanish, and Russian where translated. Visitors can filter the library by topic or format and sort by date or title, and county staff add new materials without touching a page layout.
