brand, campaign and website

Whatcom County Health Department

A recognizable brand built around hope

a resource for those affected by opioid addiction

We developed the WhatcomHope.org website as a user-friendly resource for those suffering from Opioid addiction and friends and family of those who are addicted. The website included a dynamic, interactive map of different locations for getting help or picking up Naloxone.

developing a media campaign

We developed a series of social media images, videos, and messages that linked to specific pages on the whatcomhope.org website.

ongoing social media videos

We have developed a variety of videos as part of ongoing campaigns, including short animations designed to quickly deliver one message.

accessible materials

All print materials were translated and produced in English, Spanish, and Russian to help reach these populations.

Urgent by Choice

Bright yellow and black form the visual foundation of the Whatcom Has Hope brand. Yellow functions as an alert color — immediate, attention-grabbing, and impossible to overlook. It signals urgency without alarm, drawing the eye whether someone is scrolling through social media or passing a bus ad at speed. Black grounds the palette, lending weight and clarity to messaging that needs to be direct and trustworthy.

Clarity From Billboard to Brochure

Gotham was chosen as the primary typeface for its clean lines, strong presence, and exceptional legibility across a wide range of applications. Its bold weight carries the urgency the campaign demands, while its geometric structure keeps messaging clear and accessible — whether someone is reading a brochure, scrolling through social media, or catching a glimpse of a bus ad in passing.
